Those of you who know me may know that I’m leaving my current job at the end of June. After working in the oil industry for the last six years and in the corporate world for twenty years now, I’m ready for a break. I’ve decided to spend a few months exploring some ideas for making income online and then decide whether or not to find another job or continue on my own path. This opportunity was long awaited with several years of planning and saving to prepare for it. I’m excited and eager to move on to see what opportunities I can discover, and simply have time to work on my own projects without restriction.
I’d like to make this site part of the journey and share some of my adventures along the way. I’ve neglected it mostly due to my discomfort putting myself online, but I’m determined to push on and become comfortable with an online presence. In line with that thinking, I’m making a minor change to the site policy. While all images posted to the gallery will continue to be available for anyone’s use, you should assume images on blog posts, articles, and resource pages are copyrighted. This will allow me to share other content which I didn’t create originally.
The stamped image for this post is a carving of an illustration by Shel Silverstein from the cover of the Where the Sidewalk Ends . If you have never seen his work please check it out. Kids love the poems, and the illustrations are amazing and carve worthy!
