I have several stamps which I never posted, so I’m working on getting these stamped, scanned and added to the site. These are all circle themed and don’t look bad together. I took a picture of the stamps while I was stamping them. You know, I always look at those pretty hand carved stamps for sale on Etsy and wonder how they keep them so clean. You have to stamp each one several times to make find all of the high spots in the carved areas and clean them up. This is usually enough to start making them look well used. Perhaps it’s because I use pigment ink? I also usually stamp the bare material with yellow Stazon to help see where I have carved (especially when using white carving materials) and that’s very difficult to remove. Perhaps if I was selling them, I’d get creative, but I like using them too much to take pictures while they are still clean. So I guess I’m stuck with ugly stamps to photograph! The scanned prints are in the gallery section.
