I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving! I spent mine cooking, eating, and carving stamps 🙂 They were both created from the Adobe Capture CC app and I wanted to show off the results with some real stamps. The first one is a heavily frayed leaf from a potted plant in the lobby at my office. I’ve been wanting to make that leaf into a stamp for a long time! The left image is the capture and the stamp is on the right. I deleted the background in Photoshop before transferring it to the carving material, but you could just as easily cut it off the paper with scissors or just carve out the parts you don’t like. This was also my first carve of the Chinese material from Etsy (referred to as SLQ on AQ). It was a gift from Wry Me, and I really enjoyed carving with it.
The image below was created with the pine cone on a sheet of white paper which gives you a clean background. The stamped image is on the right. I hope you have as much fun with the app as I have!
